Wilson E. Herbert is a Professor of Accounting & Financial Management. Born in 1955 in the Ukwa-East LGA of Abia State, he studied at the University of Nigeria, Nssuka between 1973 and 1977 where he graduated with a distinguished BSc (Hons) degree in Accountancy. In 1986 he obtained his MBEd (Business) from the Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA and MAcc (International Financial Management) & PhD (International Investment) from the University Of Glasgow, Scotland, UK in 1987 and 1991 respectively.
He began a brilliant professional career with SKOUP Ltd in 1978 and later joined Olympic Packers Ltd, Onitsha and Eurotrade Nigeria Ltd, PH where he rose to the esteem positions of Company Secretary/Chief Accountant, and Financial Controller respectively. He has also served as HOD Financial Studies & Professor of Accounting and Financial Management University of Derby England, UK; the Director (Fin. & Admin) and Ag. MD/CEO of Nigerian Education Bank. Currently, he is the Chairman, Pension Board of Trustees of Nigerian Education Bank; Vice-Chairman, Emerging Markets Fund Management; Executive Director, Emerging Markets Group; Consultant to World Bank; Visiting Prof. (Strategic Financial Management) Technology Management Center Singapore, National Universities Commission (NUC), etc.
Prof. Wilson E. Herbert has had several Honours and Awards both locally and internationally, including the Award of Excellence in Financial Accounting issues & Financial Markets, Colorado State University, USA; Knight of ST. Christopher, Anglican Communion; USAID Research Fellowship, USA to name a few. He is also affiliated to several professional bodies like; Member, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria; Fellow, Institute of Chartered Fraud Examiners, Nigeria; etc. He is a Traditional Chief of both Asa and Ndoki in Ukwa East LGA of Abia State.
Prof. Wilson E. Herbert has so many educational and financial publications to his credit. He is married with children.
Mrs. Patricia Nwobodo, LLB (Hons), BL, ACS - Chief Executive
Pat Nwobodo attended the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu between 1979 and 1983, where she obtained the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting. On graduation she worked in the Investment Banking Department of Audit firm of Uzo Ukwu & Co. between 1983 and 1986.
In 1987 she and some of her colleagues from the audit firm founded a finance and investment company, “Pages Company Ltd” now known as “Price Financial Services Group Limited”, where she worked as an Investment Manager until 1989 when she joined Price Securities & Trust Company Limited, a stock broking subsidiary of Pages Company Limited as a Trainee Stock Broker until 1990. In 1990, she left for a law degree in University of Lagos in 1992, and graduated with a bachelor of Law Degree, LLB, (Hons) in 1992.
Between 1992 and 1993 she attended the Nigeria Law School, after which the Body of Benchers called her to the Bar as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. In 1993 she returned to Price Securities & Trust Company where she continued her on-the-job training as financial trader. By 1994 she qualified as a Licensed Stock Broker and was awarded the Associate of the Institution of Stock Brokers (ACS) of Nigeria. She then started trading as qualified Broker and Investment Banker.
She served on the Board of the FSB International Bank, on part-time and was also a member of the bank’s Audit Committee between 1993 and 2000.
She attended various courses on investment banking and management, both locally and in Europe. These training programmes in rse organized by Investment Education Institution in Geneva, Corporate Finance and Foreign Exchange Course by Michael Steven and H. Pierson’s Associates respectively.
In 1999 she packaged the take over and restructuring of Savannah Bank ormer Bank of America, where she worked from April 2000 to February 2002.
In 2003 she returned to Price Financial Services Group Ltd., as the Chief Executive Officer.
She is also the Chairman of the Policy and Strategic Planning Committee and Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee of the school Board.
Dr. Hederick H.P. Barlay D. Litt, FinstD, FIMC - Director .
International banker and consultant with 40years of hands-on banking experience in various parts of the world including Nigeria, Cote d’Ivore, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Togo, Kenya, Greece, Lebanon, USA, UK, etc. 25 years of which were with a leading American bank with a strong global presence. Specialty expertise in Banking Operations, International Trade and Finance, Human resource Management and Risk Management including auditing.
Hedrick Barlay is an international consultant in banking management and professional training and is closely linked to several banks internationally and particularly in Nigeria. He joined Citibank in 1962 and left 1987, at the rank of Vice President after a quarter century of meritorious service. He was seconded to Ecobank-Togo as the pioneer Managing Director.Concurrently with his duties as Managing, Director Togo, Hedrick Barlay accepted the challenge of being the project director for Ecobank Nigeria from 1988 to 1989. By 1990, following the opening of Ecobank affiliates in four more countries, Cote d’Ivore, Nigeria, Benin and Ghana, Hedrick Barley became the director of Operations for the group.
Hedrick Barley attended BO school for sons of chiefs and obtained his first university degree in banking at Kings College London. He obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration at California Coast University in 1983 and was honored with a Doctorate degree by St. Clement’s University in Australia in 1997. He is a fellow of the Institute of Directors, London and also a fellow of Nigerian Institute of Management Consultants.
Bede Ogujiuba Mbama BSc, ACS- Executive Director
Mr. Ogujiuba is an accountant and seasoned chartered stockbroker with over fourteen years post qualification experience in the Nigerian Capital market. He had worked with Icon Merchant Bank Limited and Merchant Bank of Africa Limited. Currently, he leads the Price Securities Limited team.
He has a flair for in-depth financial and securities research and analysis and holds a bachelor (BSc) degree in accounting from Bayero University Kano. Mr. Bede Ogujiuba is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He is also an authorized dealing clerk.

J. U. K. Igwe is a graduate of Law from Imo State University (now Abia State University). He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991. He is a Legal practitioner actively involved in litigation, commercial and consultancy services. He has participated in several celebrated cases from the High Courts to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Nigeria.
He is also a certified Capital Market Consultant and publisher. He has made several publications in both Legal and non Legal journals. Currently, he is the Chairman, Governing Board of Global Trade & Investment Management Network (GTIM), Managing Solicitor J. U. K. Ernest C. Nwafor B.Sc (Hons), ACA- Chief Finance officer
Ernest was born in 1959 in Anambra State of Nigeria. He studied at the University of Nigeria, Nssuka, Enugu State, where he got his first degree in Accountancy. He became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in May 1990.
He is a seasoned Accountant with over 20 years experience in financial accounting, auditing and administration. He has worked with various firms as financial administrator, including Smartpay Nig. Ltd as an Assistant General Manager (Finance & Administration) from 1999 to 2004, Nigerian Institute of Management as Assistant Director (Finance) from 2004 to 2005, etc. Currently, he is the Executive Director (Finance & Administration) United Trust Assurance Co. Ltd, Rowet Capital Management Ltd and PST Bureau De Change Ltd.
